As an important link fitting in power grid construction, socket clevis is mainly used to connect suspension clamps with insulators,which plays a role of connecting conductors and insulating cooperating with other accessories.By analyzing faults in transmission line,abrasion and breakage of different degrees are main reasons for power transmission faults.therefore,the strength analysis and structure improvement to power fittings are necessary.There is no good method to monitor cracks of running power fittings at present.In order to prevent similar event,only by leave-factory check and acceptance,installation, registration check for running,the crack and abrasion could be prevent and checked.
